Plumeria obtusa

A subtropical shrub with showy white flowers native to the Antilles, Florida, northern Central America and Southern Mexico.  It has been cultivate in China and Southeast Asia as an ornamental plant grown for its flowers.  In Cambodia, the flowers are used to make necklaces and in offerings to deities.  Note, the stalks for the flowers at a lower level have penetrated and grown through one of the leafs.  Not necessarily an important detail, but one that I found interesting.
