Manihot esculenta ‘Variegata’)

Cassava or variegate tapioca is native to South America.  This plant likes it hot and will not survive cold weather or frost.  The root of this plant is an important food source, but most be properly prepared as in its raw form, is poisonous.  Cassava has been cultivate in tropical and subtropical climates world-wide as a food crop.
