October Bumblebee

No frost here yet, the autumn flowers still have pollen for the bumblebees.  The newly emerged queens will gorge themselves with pollen and find a suitable place to hibernate for the winter.  Usually, a burrow dug under ground.  They emerge in the spring as the soil warms and softens to work the first spring flowers.
